My two year old is just now beginning to figure out how to put two duplo bricks together, so we wanted some simple building sets that also have a 'fun' component. This one is good because it has two nice little fire squad vehicles and people plus a dog and fire hydrant etc, so he can do a little pretend play as well. He doesn't need a lot of bricks yet, they just get scattered all over and his attention span is short - so this set works for a starter to which you can add more bricks as they grow. Or, if you already have a large collection, this one adds a couple more vehicles and people for your town. |

My 5 yr old Special Needs daughter loves fire stations so I bought this for her for her birthday. She enjoys playing with it but it is very frustrating. We set up the house and as soon as she touches it, it falls apart. It will not stay up. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to help her rebuild it because it will not stay together. Her hands shake a little when she tries to put things on the station and it collapses on her. I don't know if it's just her and me but I wish it would be a little more sturdy. › See all 9 customer reviews...
